Below are a variety of projects where I took a leadership position during my time at Hoffman Architecture along with a description of the project scope. My duties included client consultation, conceptual design of interiors and exteriors, design development, construction document drafting, and construction administration.
Stone Hall ApartmentThe renovation of an existing student apartment into an employee apartment on the Penn State University Park Campus. The largest challenge of the space was existing floor to ceiling windows along the entire length of the space. To provide privacy from the busy sidewalk outside and still allow for natural light to fill the space, top-down, bottom up window treatment was selected.

Acacia Fraternity HouseShortly before leaving Pennsylvania, I participated in the feasibility phase of extensive renovations to a fraternity house. The building is a cobbled together collection of reused timbers, additions, and renovations. A series of focus groups, interactive workshops and condition assessments revealed severe structural issues and outdated program layout that drove the design.
